One of the most powerful lines ever spoken in a movie. This movie holds a special place in my heart due to the fact that I came across this movie when I was going through a bad time and this movie literally jump started me.
How patience and time triumphs over anything, best example is shawshank redemption.
The story is about a young banker, Andy Dufresne, who has been wrong fully convicted for his wife's murder. In the prison he meets "Red" played by Morgan Freeman.
His story about the struggle of initial years to becoming the book keeper for the warden who is running scams inside the prison with the help of his financial expertise.
At first you would find that the story is about a newbie inside the prison system who is going about his life and it seems that he easily adjusts to his new life in the prison. It changes when he first request Red for a pick hammer as he has passion for rocks.
He slowly and gradually starts digging the prison walls to make a tunnel to escape. This takes him 19 years to do so. But the real movie lies in the fact that what he did between those 19 years and yeah he escapes, with a lot of money too.
Between this time he helps his fellow inmates in different ways, does many things for social and academic welfare inside the prison and even helps one of his apprentice to graduate and still keeps digging that tunnel.
This movie will surely take your breath away for a second and make you think and hustle.
This movie cannot be missed, not matter what.
